This original ACME Thunderer whistle is an iconic piece of British industrial and sports history. Manufactured by J. Hudson & Co. in Birmingham, it is one of the most famous signal whistles of the 20th century and was used for decades in sports, training, and military contexts.

The whistle is made of brass and bears the classic "The Acme Thunderer – Made in England" engraving. Inside is the characteristic small ball – the "pea" – which produces the typical trilling sound.

With its clear, functional design and beautiful patina, the whistle today primarily has decorative and collector's value. A small object with a strong graphic presence and historical reference.
