Doornkaat Ashtray – Gold Rim

A classic promotional item, presumably from the 1960s: This porcelain ashtray was manufactured by UKW Dehme and features the characteristic red Doornkaat lettering.

The slightly oval shape with four rests and a delicate gold rim gives the piece understated elegance. Intended as a functional object, today it appears as a graphically minimalist design object with a touch of nostalgia.
