Enamel Thermometer Paris – Pharmacie Bailly

This antique enamel advertising thermometer from the Parisian Pharmacie A. Bailly is a characterful piece of French advertising art. The clear, vertical design combines typography, color fields, and function to create an expressive object with graphical presence.

The inscription "15 Rue de Rome, Paris" and the advertising slogan "Donne toujours et pour tout toute satisfaction" – meaning "Always gives full satisfaction for everything" – indicate the pharmacy's origin and claim. Such so-called Thermomètres Glaçoïde were used as advertising media in the early to mid-20th century.

Made of enameled metal, the thermometer shows an authentic patina with age-related signs of wear, which underline its historical character.
