This exceptional set of three historical tin soldiers dates back to the German Empire and can be attributed to the renowned Dresden toy factory Georg Heyde due to its craftsmanship. The figures depict Prussian soldiers in their traditional peacetime uniform with dark blue tunics, white trousers, and the distinctive shako.

A particular rarity are the detachable plug-in heads, which were attached using fine metal pins. This ingenious system allowed for the interchangeability of heads and headgear – a fascinating detail of historical toy manufacturing and today a sought-after collector's feature.

The figures impress with their finely crafted details. Backpacks with rolled-up field blankets, infantry sabers, and marching poses reflect the high quality of manufacturing at the time. The thin base plates and typical design suggest a production around 1890 to 1914.

The soldiers are in unrestored original condition with age-related paint abrasion and a beautiful patina. The originally separately attached rifles are no longer present on all three figures, while the remaining details and the characteristic interchangeable heads have been preserved. The lead-tin alloy is stable, and the figures impress with their authentic appearance.
