This set of two original Pastis 51 bistro glasses from the 1970s is a beautiful piece of French aperitif and bar culture. The straightforward shape, the solid glass base, and the distinctive circumferential glass rib give the glasses their characteristic retro look.
The glasses were manufactured in the 1970s as catering and promotional glassware for Pastis 51 and were intended for serving in French bars, cafés, and bistros. The classic blue and red "51" logo makes them instantly recognizable as typical Pastis glasses.
Thanks to the sturdy glass and heavy base, the glasses feel comfortable in the hand and are particularly stable. In addition to Pastis, they are equally well-suited today for other aperitifs or as distinctive water glasses.
