Simple design, honest material, made for everyday use.
This cast iron teapot is made by the traditional Japanese manufacturer Iwachu in Morioka – a company that has been synonymous with classic Nambu-Tekki ironware for generations. The Iwachu stamp and the original box underscore the teapot's origin and authenticity.
The cast iron retains heat exceptionally well, keeping tea pleasantly warm. The textured surface ensures a secure grip, while the enameled interior makes cleaning easy. A removable metal filter allows you to brew loose tea directly in the pot.
Reduced, functional and durable – a tranquil object for daily tea preparation.
Care: Rinse with clean water, dry thoroughly
