St. Raphaël Ice Bucket – France

This original St. Raphaël Quinquina ice bucket comes from French bistro and bar culture of the 1950s to 1960s. Made of heavy pressed glass with a distinctive diamond pattern and equipped with a movable metal handle, it combines functionality with the unmistakable charm of Mid-Century design.

The red St. Raphaël Quinquina lettering is a reminder of the famous French wine- and quinine-based aperitif, which was an integral part of French cafés, bistros, and brasseries for decades. Such ice buckets were issued directly to the catering trade as promotional items and were part of the stylish serving of aperitifs and cocktails.
