St. Raphaël Ice Bucket – France

This original St. Raphaël Quinquina ice bucket dates back to French bistro and bar culture of the 1950s and 1960s. Crafted from heavy pressed glass with a striking diamond pattern and equipped with a movable metal handle, it combines functionality with the unmistakable charm of mid-century design.

The red St. Raphaël Quinquina lettering commemorates the famous French wine- and quinine-based aperitif that was a staple of French cafés, bistros, and brasseries for decades. Such ice buckets were issued as promotional items directly to the catering industry and were part of the stylish way aperitifs and cocktails were served.

The heavy pressed glass with its faceted surface creates impressive light reflections, making the ice bucket a decorative object even today. In addition to its original use, it is also suitable as a lantern, candle holder, or stylish storage for bar utensils.

The glass base bears the embossed inscription "Made in France," confirming its French origin.
