Pufferfish Paperweight

The solid brass Fugu Paperweight combines playful design with traditional Japanese metalwork. Modeled after a fugu, the Japanese pufferfish, this small figure is perfect as a paperweight or book weight for a desk or reading table.

The Fugu is crafted in Takaoka, a traditional center of Japanese metalworking. Its colored surface is finished using traditional techniques, giving each piece a unique coloring. Due to its shape, the Fugu can also be used as a pen rest. It is delivered in a traditional Kiribako wooden box.
