Tuscany Alarm Clock

The Toscana Alarm Clock draws on the form of classic travel and table clocks. Its round Italian pewter case, light-colored dial with Arabic numerals, and small carrying handle give the clock a character that deliberately evokes historical timepieces.

The handle is more than just a decorative detail. It references 17th- and 18th-century clocks, back when a clock was a precious household item often carried from room to room—downstairs during the day, and back to the bedrooms in the evening. Cosi Tabellini translates this historical detail into a compact table clock, combining it with the pewter craftsmanship typical of the manufacture.

Inside, there is a German battery-operated clockwork. Two small feet ensure stability, while the domed glass and finely ornamented edges of the pewter case underscore the classic design.
