The "Penitencier" trousers by Fleurs de Bagne are inspired by French work trousers from the 1940s. The high-waisted cut and wide silhouette reflect the characteristic shape of these early workwear trousers, providing a striking, relaxed fit.

The trousers are crafted from heavy, 100% cotton moleskin with a fabric weight of 495 g/m². The design remains intentionally functional: two large patch pockets on the front are complemented by two additional patch pockets on the back.
