The Japanese Higonokami pocket knife is characterized by its simple design. The blade is held in the folded brass handle by a pivot pin, and the knife is opened by a lever (Japanese: Chikiri) on the back of the blade. Despite its simple overall construction, the blade is of very good quality and is made from three-layer carbon steel.
This small and compact version of the Higonokami knife is ideal for small everyday cutting tasks. Thanks to the practical brass ring, the knife can be conveniently attached to a key ring, so it's always at hand.
