Chinese Lantern - Sola Cube

The shape and color of this fruit are reminiscent of a Chinese lantern. During the Bon festival in Japan, streets and houses are decorated with it to guide the ancestral spirits. The root has long been used in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

The delicate, skeletal veins of the dried fruit are permanently preserved – captured in a clear cube of acrylic resin. A miniature universe in transparent form.

The plants are sourced from nature and therefore vary in size, color, and shape. Each cube is carefully handcrafted; however, very fine air bubbles or powder-like plant material may appear inside the cube during the production process.

Please clean with a soft cloth and do not use solvents such as thinner, alcohol, or other cleaning agents. Avoid direct, intense sunlight, as this can cause discoloration or small cracks.
