This set of two vintage boules from the renowned French manufacturer Obut embodies the rich playing culture of Southern France. The boules are held together by an original leather carrying strap that offers space for the two boules and the small jack (cochonnet).
The steel boules bear the typical Obut embossing as well as the weight of 730 grams. In addition, the initials "ATC" are engraved - a common personalization among boules players to quickly identify their own boules during the game and avoid confusion. The clear patina, signs of wear and rust deposits testify to many years of use and give the set its authentic vintage character.
Since the 1950s, Obut has been one of the most famous manufacturers of boules and pétanque balls and is still closely associated with French leisure and sports culture today.
The boules are in age-appropriate, used condition with visible signs of wear that underline their historical character.
