The Cast Iron Monkey Hook is a distinctive cast iron hook featuring a playful monkey figure. It is manufactured by Sumitani Saburo Shoten, a traditional manufacturer from the Japanese metalworking city of Takaoka, which has been producing everyday metal objects since 1939.

The design shows a monkey with outstretched arms, serving as a hook. Such shapes were originally used in Japan to hang small vases or decorative objects as part of flower arrangements. Today, the hook is ideal for jackets, bags, towels, or kitchen utensils, while also adding a playful accent to the wall.

Made from solid cast iron and finished with a protective coating, the Monkey Hook combines traditional casting techniques with a functional and characterful design.
