Spice jars with onion pattern - Set of 8

This charming set of eight vintage spice jars combines nostalgic kitchen charm with traditional craftsmanship and comes from the renowned porcelain manufactory Wallendorfer Porzellan. With their classic onion pattern in deep cobalt blue and turned wooden lids, they remain popular collector's items and decorative companions in the kitchen to this day.

The spice jars are labeled Curry, Cumin, Bay Leaf, Nutmeg, Cloves, Paprika, Allspice, and Juniper and were originally made for the stylish storage of essential kitchen spices. The traditional decor was executed in the "Echt Kobalt" (real cobalt) technique – a high-quality underglaze painting using real cobalt oxide. This creates the characteristic depth of the luminous blue, which loses none of its expressiveness even after decades.

The jars are in good vintage condition appropriate for their age, with slight signs of wear that underline their authentic character.
