This small tin box comes from the former "Apotheke Rombach" (Rombach Pharmacy) on Metzerstrasse and is a testament to early pharmacy and advertising history. The lid features a finely crafted lithograph with a historical view of the pharmacy, the name of the owner F. Schrader, and other details about the pharmacy at the time.
Such tins were frequently used in the first half of the 20th century to store ointments, lozenges, candies, or small medicines. Today, they are coveted collector's items for lovers of historical pharmacy articles, old packaging, and nostalgic advertising graphics.
Its small size, beautiful typography, and visible signs of wear give the tin its special charm. As a small storage box or decorative collector's item, it brings a piece of everyday history into the present.
This is an original vintage item. Significant signs of wear, scratches, and age-related patina are present and part of its authentic character. The tin is sold empty.
