Martini Ceramic Ashtray – France, 1960s

This large Martini promotional ashtray was made in the 1960s by the French ceramics manufacturer Proceram. With its generous square shape and the classic Martini logo, it is a beautiful example of French bar and advertising culture of that era.

The ashtray has a glossy, creamy yellow glaze and four generous rests for cigarettes. On two opposite sides is the well-known Martini logo with black lettering and a red circle. The inward-curving sides and raised corners give the piece its characteristic shape.

On the underside is the Proceram manufacturer's stamp. Originally intended as a promotional item for bars, cafes, and restaurants, the ashtray is now equally suitable as a decorative tray for keys or other small items.
