Flower Vase ZA Rokusho

The Flower Vase ZA Rokusho is a compact, sculptural vase made of solid brass, designed by Shuya Sumitani. It is crafted in the traditional metal workshop of Sumitani Saburo Shoten in Toyama, a region known for its high-quality metalworking for over 400 years.

The vase is made of solid brass and gets its characteristic surface from the special Rokusho patina. This traditional Japanese patination technique creates a vibrant, deeply effective color that gives the object a special depth and expressiveness.

With its clear, minimalist form, the vase is particularly suitable for single blossoms or small arrangements. The weight of the solid brass ensures a stable stand, while the surface can develop an even more individual patina over time.
