UMF Ruhla stopwatch - 9 Rubies with original box

This mechanical stopwatch from UMF Ruhla is a classic timepiece from the 1950s or 1960s. Manufactured by the traditional VEB Uhren- und Maschinenfabrik Ruhla in Thuringia, it represents the solid precision engineering and functionality of that era.

Equipped with a white dial, a large 60-second scale, and an additional minute counter, the stopwatch allows for precise time measurements of up to 30 minutes. The mechanical movement features 9 jewel bearings ("9 Rubis"), which reduce wear on moving parts and ensure smooth operation.

The chrome-plated metal casing fits comfortably in the hand and is operated via the typical crown with a retaining ring. Repeated pressing of the crown triggers the start, stop, and reset functions. The original storage box is also preserved, emphasizing the authentic collector's character of this piece.
