The Tombow 8900 is one of Japan's most famous and successful pencils. This original vintage set contains twelve unused pencils in HB grade and comes in the classic yellow sliding box, whose characteristic design has remained virtually unchanged since the late 1940s.
The dark green lacquered pencils with gold embossing represent the high quality for which Tombow has been known for over a century. The HB grade offers a balanced blend of hardness and blackness, making it equally suitable for writing, sketching, and drawing. Thanks to their consistent graphite blend and pleasant writing properties, the 8900s are still extremely popular in Japan today.
