Simple vintage storage jar from Germany, made by Ruhrglas. The clear pressed glass with embossed "RUHRGLAS" lettering and typical industrial relief stands for functional design from the post-war period.
The solid glass lid gracefully closes the container. The lid features the embossing "RUHRGLAS" and the classic mining symbol with a hammer and chisel – a clear indication of its industrial origin in the Ruhr region.
The thick-walled glass appears robust and timeless, while the embossed details and structured base give the object a characteristic, slightly industrial expression. Today, the glass is particularly suitable as a decorative piece with an authentic vintage character.
